OUR STORY
Stephen and Abby met in Lubbock at Texas Tech University in 1994 during their Freshman year. They became best friends, began dating in 1996, were married in 1999 and have four children, a son first and then three daughters. They moved to Highland Park in 2014 and then to University Park, on University Blvd, in 2016. They have loved everything Dallas and the Park Cities have to offer. Three of four of their children will graduate or have graduated from Highland Park High School. Their oldest daughter was home schooled due to a rigorous gymnastics practice schedule and earned a full ride scholarship to compete for the University of Nebraska. In addition to the Cornhusker, they also have two Aggies so far. Stephen and Abby have worked side by side for 15 years. They have owned and operated more than ten businesses over the last 18 years. Stephen’s middle name is Hadley and Abby’s middle name is Bess, both family names. Hadley & Bess, LLC was established in 2011. Stephen and Abby have worked closely with an architect and a general contractor to design, build or remodel 11 homes and 6 commercial spaces over the last 20 years. They have decided to settle into building and now enjoy pouring their time and energy into one special property at a time. Each project is a labor of love garnering acute attention to every detail. The couple has a true passion for creating beautiful spaces. Abby and Stephen support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital among others and belong to Highland Park United Methodist Church.
